Jack and I were having a blast splashing in the sand/water table. Yes, we were soaked :o)

We went outside to splash in the puddles today and to help Papa do some gardening. Jack wasn't that into the gardening and decided to take Luke for a stroll instead.

Luke is in his big-boy car seat now. He fell asleep today on the way home from Kmart. I was hoping he would sleep during the move from the car to the crib like his big brother always did but he woke up as soon as I started to unbuckle him. Guess I'll have to work on my technique.

The weather was nice yesterday so we went to the playground... which, by the way, is where Jack asks to go every time we get in the car.

Luke keeps growing and growing... I know he will be walking by the time Michael comes home in August!

Happy Birthday Jazz!!

Our little Jazzy turned 4 the other day! Jack and I made a special cake in her honor and sang her a special birthday tune.

BUSTED!!

I was gone for twenty minutes.... ran to the post office to mail Michael a package. The time was 10:30 AM. When I returned all seemed fine, at first. Grammy said that Jack had a snack and wasn't ready for lunch yet. I walked by the high chair and saw where the crime had been committed. At first you might not see anything wrong.... a few crayons, some crumbs. But, a closer look will reveal a blue colored object.... a much closer look and you will find that the blue object is an M & M. Hmmmmmm........ Grammy's BUSTED :o)

Relaxing with Grammy after a long day :o) Luke got a wonderful ladybug that lights up his room with stars... green, red or blue. Jack decided that is was a pretty neat little gadget and decided to take ownership of the bug.

Grammy is trying to get Jack walk on her back... not sure it was a real success.

Good Morning... and night!

This is the most precious thing I have been waking up to every morning.... and at least three times a night :o) It seems Mr. Luke-man is into late-night aerobics. He gets himself stuck standing up and I have to get up and lay him back down.... but this sweet smiling face every morning makes it more than worth it :o)

Hello, Spring!

This is what SPRING looks like in Wellsville. I can't believe there is snow on the ground this morning... I can't believe we had to put on Jack's SNOWSUIT to take our morning walk. It is supposed to melt by this afternoon :o) I know it will be gorgeous here this summer but for now.....SC HERE WE COME!!!!!

This was taken at the park yesterday... Jack looks like he's lost his teeth.

(thought you would find this one funny, Michael)

Pictures from Grammy's Camera

So here are some of the cute ones that I just found on Grammy's camera....

Luke is flirting in this one :o) We showed him a pic of Aunt Heather's sister's baby... she's the same age and he couldn't get enough of her! He was laughing and smiling .....he liked her so much he wanted to eat the picture... so adorable! Here Jack is practicing his gymnastics moves. He was doing a split... he thought he was pretty funny because his socks were sliding across the floor.

What??? Jack, you are a little too big for that thing... and to think it used to be yours! And Luke, I can't believe you are STANDING up all by yourself! These kids are growing up toooooooo fast!

Grammy was teaching Jack how to make bread. Hmmmm... correction, Jack is pretending to roll the bread... Actually, I just looked at the picture again, and I think he is rolling his tractor over the bread :o) HA!

Ahhhhh.... Daddy is Skyping us and reading Jack and Luke a book. We bought a few pairs of books before Michael left so that he could read one and Jack could have one. He's such a good Daddy!!!!!!

The Luck of the Irish

Hmmmm... not so sure about the "luck" of the Irish. Jack got pink eye today :o(

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
-Traditional Irish Blessing

YAY!! I finally got the camel that Daddy sent just for me. I think it is pretty darn cool that Daddy gets to live in a sandbox. I really miss him.... I am growing so fast and getting so big. Today I started crawling, really crawling. I also pulled myself up on a basket and stood up on my toes (can't wait to show Daddy my new trick on Skype!!!). My brother is pretty cool, although today he climbed on Mommy and knocked me over. I got scared and cried... but I'm still one tough cookie!

Here are all of the neighborhood kids... All of Michael's neighbors grew up and had babies. It was neat to have them all there playing... kinda hard to get them all in one picture, though. Alex and Jack are missing...they were busy throwing the ball down the hill into the "field."

Grammy and Papa are enjoying the nice weather. The last few days have been so nice. We've been able to get outside every single afternoon.... Jack is loving the big hill in the back yard. It use to serve as the hill the neighborhood kids would sled down, and now they are rolling balls, cars, trucks, each other... you name it down the hill.

Jack is really into his colors these days. He is telling me which ball is which here.

Here are Jack and Papa kicking the ball around before dinner.
**So , not crazy about this layout I tried. I couldn't quite figure out how to make it do what I wanted it to do... just in case you're wondering why it looks like this :o)

Jack said the cutest thing tonight. I was getting him dressed for bed and I was putting on one of those footed pj things. He hasn't worn one of those in a really long time... anyway, after it was on he had a funny look on his face... then he told me that his feet were stuck. I thought it was adorable :o)

We had another fun adventure to the Museum of Play in Rochester. Every time we go we see something new! Jack played so hard he needed a little break. He took a break in the Knight's Castle on a comfy bed.
Jack is separating the good eggs from the bad ones. But, in this picture he is actually trying to shove a plum (which won't fit) into the hole. He got the plum from the farmer's market vegetable stand outside of the barn.

Jack is spinning the pinwheel and making the plane fly. This place has the coolest things!

Jack and Grammy are cooking up a delicious feast for lunch at the diner. They actually had little waiters aprons for the kids to wear. You can sit down at the table and your child can pretend to work at the restaurant.... they take your order and bring you your food. I was nursing Luke and overheard a conversation between a little girl and her father. She asked him what he wanted for dessert, he said the peach pie. She came back and said, "Ummm, Daddy, we're out of the peach pie, but the apple has cinnamon and ice cream and it's really yummy." What imaginations these kids have :o)

Luke is crawling more than he is scooting now. He is a man on the move.... and LOVES to get his brother's crayons in his mouth. We have to watch him like a hawk these days!

Feeding Luke

Last night at dinner Jack picked up Luke's jar of food and took out the spoon and started feeding Luke. It was too cute :o) Luke was looking at him with such admiration.... he thought it was pretty special, too.
Sharing his peanut butter and Jelly with Papa at lunch.

We learned how to make funny hats at the Strong Play Museum. Here is us practicing. This is actually Jack's hat, but he wished to not be photographed wearing it :o) The weather has been warmer the past few days and it's been really nice. We actually had a picnic yesterday!

Yesterday

Our household goods shipment came in yesterday. I have no idea if everything is here... mostly b/c everything is still boxed and in a storage unit down the street. We are missing the pieces to Jack's bed to convert it to a toddler bed. I thought we'd be able to get away with the side rail but he kept pushing it out and I was afraid he'd get stuck... so back to the baby crib, which he is still perfectly happy to be in :o)
We got everything put together with Luke's crib.... it looked so cute! At eight I went to put him to bed and I had the mattress too high! So, Luke spent one more night in his pack-n-play, right next to his crib.

A few pics...

Yesterday was amazing!! The weather was so nice and NO SNOW :o) Our movers delivered the rest of our furniture yesterday.... this picture is for you, Michael. GO BILLS!!
Forget the tasty organic peach puree for breakfast.... leggo my brother's blueberry eggo instead!

Jack the toolman... pretending to be Handy Manny.

Jack Playing

We are still really into puzzles these days.... here is our latest addition to the collection. Jack loves the sun in the middle of the puzzle!
